JUAN DE LUNA INIGUEZ for Trustee

Juan’s connection to Round Lake started when his parents lived here before he was born. He chose to make our Village his home while finishing his degree in biomedical engineering, not just because he loved the community, but because he wanted to go back to the place that his parents once called home. Connectivity to home and family are a core element of Juan’s life and he truly enjoys both while living here.

Round Lake has brought Juan so many blessings that he is thankful for. Though his educational plans changed during COVID, because he lives here, he met his wonderful wife and, after marrying, they bought their own home in our community.

After buying their home, Juan was able to purchase Twisted Burger in 2021 from his in-laws who are also long-time Round Lake residents and small business owners. Eager to help others enjoy what Round Lake has to offer, in addition to a delicious burger, Juan opened up an Airbnb in the heart of downtown Round Lake in 2022.

Because everyone has been so welcoming, on a personal and professional level, Juan works hard to help engage others in the community by:

✔️ Serving on the Planning and Zoning Commission

✔️ Hosting community events at Twisted Burger

✔️ Working with the school district

Through his experience as a small business owner and as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission Juan has gotten closer to Round Lake’s residents and has built a deeper understanding of the issues our community is facing. As a candidate with Round Lake Forward, Juan is focused not only on helping work through the issues we are facing and making our little big town an even better place in which to live but is also motivating our younger generations to participate more in our community so together we can move Round Lake Forward.
